2007 Middle School Only

Young golfers may choose the Middle school only program to be with kids their own age.  Participants in this program must be entering 6th – though 8th grades.

Camp Includes
  • Beginner to Advanced Curriculums
  • 40 hours of professional instruction - 9:00 - 5:00 daily
  • No equipment needed
  • Access to $1 Golf at Sandy Ridge, Maple Leaf Golf Club, and Bridgeport Golf Club
  • Swimming at Delta's awesome pool facility
  • Nutritious lunch daily
  • On course instruction
  • "Golf For Life" work book on the game and core values
  • Guest Speakers - Week 1 - Saginaw Zoo; Week 2 - Saginaw & Bay Police Departments; Week 3 - Dr. Desmon Daniels Superintendent Bridgeport-Spaulding Schools; Week 4 - Doug Temple PGA Professional; Week 5 - Inspirational speaker and youth leader Todd Savage
  • Daily prizes and awards ceremony at the weeks end
  • PGA professionals written review of each student.
  Daily Flow For Each Day of Camp
    8:45-9:00 Drop off at Delta Colleges fitness and recreation center
(look for signs throughout the campus)
    9:00-9:10 Parents meet the staff and volunteers plus pick up an itinerary of the week listing the key skills your child will be learning, the planned extracurricular activities, guest speakers and emergency contact information.
    9:10-9:20 Kids make their way to the driving range and are split into groups
    9:30-12:00 Campers rotate between stations learning the fundamentals and mechanics of chipping, pitching, putting, full swing, sand play, rules, etiquette, and on course application
    12:00-12:45 Lunch – Provided
        Monday – two slices of Pizza and a beverage (lemonade or punch)
        Tuesday – Sloppy Joes, fruit, chips, cookies and a beverage (Kool-Aid)
        Wednesday – 1/4 lb. hamburger, fries and beverage
        Thursday – Ham sandwich, bag of veggies and a beverage
        Friday – two hot dogs, chips and a beverage
    12:45-1:00 “Golf for Life” workbook –
Designed specifically for kids age 11-14
    1:00-2:00 Swimming at Delta’s awesome pool facility.
For kids who don’t want to swim an extracurricular
activity will be available
    2:00-4:00 Different activities include:
        Monday – Golf instruction and fun drills
        Tuesday – At Twin Oaks Golf Course All Day
        Wednesday – Movie Day & Drive Chip and Putt Contest
        Thursday -  Guest Speaker - SADD
        Friday – Golf & carnival game with the staff 
    4:00-4:45 Review, question & answer time and daily team competitions 
       
      ** The Tuesday session will be held at Twin Oaks Golf Course and it will be the parent’s responsibility to drop off and pick up their siblings at the course.  If this day changes (due to inclement weather or other reasons) a camp director will inform all parents at Monday’s scheduled pick up time

    Space is limited!  Campers are considered enrolled only when full payment and a completed registration form are returned. Camp Cost: $175.00
